To bear in mind before your trip to Iguazu

- Before you travel check that documentation needed to leave your country is still in force. Remember that the ID cards and passports have an expiration date.

- During high season, especially at Easter, winter and public holidays, we advise you to book in advance.

- The temperature during the winter can vary a lot, so you should bring appropriate clothes (e.g. coat and bathing suit).

- Do not forget to bring insect repellent, especially during the summer.

- It is more convenient to travel to Ciudad del Este by bus. You can leave the car in Foz or in Puerto Iguazu.

- On your ride to the Falls on the Argentine side you will walk for quite some time, so it is important that you wear comfortable shoes.

- If you visit Ciudad del Este take extreme precautions with valuables such as cameras, watches, etc., and take into account that many of the products sold are not original (fake).

- If you plan to visit the National Park on the Argentine side in two days, do not forget to stamp your entrance ticket when you exit on the first day, so that you will only have to pay half price on the second day.

- In hot days drinking plenty of water and wearing a hat can be very useful.

- In a visit to the Falls, your clothes might get wet, especially if you make a boat tour (Great Adventure, Water Safari). On cold days we recommend taking a couple of spare socks and a spare shirt.

- Try to buy crafts directly to the Guarani people.
